Happy St. Patrick's Day
Pre K 3 had a great February! The boys and girls have been all doing such a wonderful job. They have been making such strides. The boys and girls have been listening, following directions, and cleaning up after themselves during center time. Most of them are even putting on their own coats and boots all on their own. Way to go Pre K 3!
The boys and girls have been doing a terrific job taking care of Hicah. The kids have been taking turns feeding Hicah each day. Each morning the kids stop by to say hello to him before we start circle time. The boys and girls have been very responsible as new pet owners.
The boys and girls have really enjoyed the unit on 'Goldilocks And The Three Bears'. Throughout the past few weeks the kids have listened to many different versions of the story, made porridge, and played with the bear family in the housekeeping center. I think that their favorite experience though was visiting with the Story Bus. The boys and girls were just thrilled to be able to play in the actual house of the Three Bears.
This month the boys and girls welcomed Ms. Engle into the classroom. We are all so happy to have Ms. Engle with us while Ms. Grimm is home with baby Landon.
Here are some of the activities that the boys and girls enjoyed and participated in during the month of February:
Looked For Our Shadows On Ground Hog Day
Made Valentines And Had A Valentine's Day Party
Played Store And Used The Classroom Cash Register
Made Jello For Snack
Listened To Our Heartbeats

Wow! March is sure to be a busy month for the boys and girls. I am looking forward to all of our March learning experiences with the kids. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I can be emailed at www.ms.garber@values4life.com.
Don't forget to dress warmly during this cold winter month. On nice days we will try to get outside for some fresh air and exercise.
