Summer Writing Assignment
for Incoming Sixth Graders
1. Keep track of all the fun times you had during the summer.
2. Write Mr. Wiezorek a one-page friendly letter that describes what you did during your summer vacation. Use your best writing skills.
3. Hand in your friendly letter on the first day of school in August.
Summer Reading Assignment for Incoming Sixth Graders!
1. You are expected to read two books this summer. You may choose the books you wish to read. (I have posted some books below that may interest you.)
2. You are expected to make a poster or PowerPoint that shows the major story events in your book and information about the characters. You will present your poster/PowerPoint during the first week of school in the fall.
