What's Happening in Room 204

    • Welcome to 4th Grade!

Student of the week is Elizabeth!!!  Well done Elizabeth.

We have kicked off November with a very exciting field trip to the Opera.  Everyone had a fantastic time.  Thank you to Mrs. Reckamp for organizing it.

We have a very exciting month ahead of us.  Below are just a few things that we will be covering throughout the month.

In English the children will be focusing on creative writing.  Using their own ideas and imagination they will create a variety of different stories.  Please encourage your child to read at home and talk to them about ideas within other books.

In Math, the children having been working extremely hard on division.  We are now ready to move on and look at measurement.  We will focus on measuring with Inches before moving on to capacity and many more.

The children all worked very hard on their social studies projects.  I really enjoyed their presentations!  We are now looking at the population of the United States and the children will be creating a time line of when people arrived.  Please encourage your child to research this in their free time.

In Science we will be investigating Magnetism and Electricity.  Thank you to all of you who have helped with collecting equipment for our Science experiments.
