Turkey Traditions

School Families hosted a Turkey dinner with all the fixings for needy families and individuals on Saturday, Nov. 21.  The first year event was organized by PILLARS.  Children participated by making decorations, preparing pies, peeling potatoes and making whole cranberry sauce.  The turkeys and vegetables were donated.  Families joined in the day by hosting tables which they decorated and serving the guests family style.  The event was a great way for our families to be of service to our community and embody Christ's teaching of feeding the poor.
