  • The St. Nicholas Day Christkindl Market Shoe Drive begins Nov. 24.  Shoes will be donated to St. Vincent De Paul Society. Children will parade to Giddings Plaza for a press conference with the Alderman to kick of the drive.
  • There will be two Kindergarten classes in 2010-2011.
  • The school is part of a grant from DePaul University which gives the teachers training in assessing students and better meeting students needs. RTI (Response to Intervention) will provide them tools for differentiated instruction.  School dismisses at 2 pm on Wednesdays to give the teachers time for the training.
  • Turkey Traditions on Nov. 21 finds the school opened to needy and homeless families and individuals in the area who are invited for a free traditional turkey dinner in the gym. The meal is a chance for our families to give back to the community and demonstrate the value of service.
